Shrove day - Bananas & eggs

Shrove day is shortly coming - 4.03.14. For Estonians this is an old traditional fun day for sledging.

According to the custom whoever sledges the furthest gets the longest bedlinen (obvisously this goes back to the times there estonian farmers grew linen nad made textile out of it - it was very important to have long fibers!). Also what did people have at that time in the cellars - its the end of the winter - they had some smoked & salted pig made at  christmas time, also some dried pies, onions and carrots. It makes a really wonderful comforting soup and cream buns to go along with it.

But in Ireland Shrove day is pancake tuesday.

You just need 1 egg and 1 banana. Smash the banana with the fork and mix in eggs. 3 x quantity makes 9-10 hand palm size pancakes!

Yum!
